AGREEMENT FOR FOREIGN MANPOWER RECRUITMENT (Agency & Employer)

This agreement is entered on ………….. between ………………………… (hereinafter referred as the employment agency) and …………………………… (hereinafter referred as the employer).

  1. The employment agency will undertake the responsibility including the cost of sending back any Employee or Employees who does not meet the qualification and/or requirements for the job, upon receipt of written request from the Employer, within the first 03 months of employment. However till his ticket is confirmed, his accommodation should be arrange by the employer.
  2. The employment agency will  provide initial 03 months work permit fee and procure work permit card and medical at free of charge for all recruits recruited through the employment agency. The deposit money that has to be paid to the government must be paid by the employer. The employer should assist the employment agency in providing the signed documents etc. on time. If either of the employer/employment agency fails to carry out any work, including any expenses and responsibilities that have to be carried out as mentioned in this agreement, the concerned party who failed to abide according to the contract should take full responsibility. If any expenses are incurred due to the negligence, the concerned party should settle such a payment within 15 days.
  3. The employer should provide salary, food, accommodation, medical, overtime etc. according to the employment agreement made between the employer and the candidate.
  4. The employment agency should bring the employee to Maldives not later than 15 days from the date of obtaining work permit from the government.
  5. If the employer wishes to send back the employee for any reason before 03 months from his date of arrival, the employer should inform the employment agency in writing prior to 03 days of his departure enabling the employment agency to obtain the necessary statements from the employee.
  6. Any issue not covered in this agreement or if any dispute arises between the employer and employment agency, it will be settled after mutual discussion.

We the undersigned fully agree to abide to the entire clauses mentioned in this contract.
